This allows you to know if you were exposed to COVID. If negative we know if within 48 hours of COVID exposure you are truly negative or positive. Antibody test negative can allow close associations such as coworkers and family are potentially positive or carriers that can infect others.
Currently COVID testing is going through the FDA and insurance has not chosen which costs will be covered.
Option A:
For Insured patients, we charge a $50 Convenience Fee for Blood Draw, IgG/IgM COVID Antibody testing NOTE: We will bill insurance and if the procedure is not covered by insurance, the consumer will need to pay for any amount not covered. This is up to an additional $100.
Option B:
For uninsured patients, we charge a $150 for Blood Draw, IgG/IgM COVID Antibody test.
We get the results within 48 hours and shared with discussion with a doctor or provider the results interpretation which could involve several complex scenarios.
We currently provide forms to be filled out or discussed over the phone. We then have a provider describe risk and set your blood draw appointment time. You wait in parking lot in the comfort of your car in a parking lot and texted or called you are next for appointment. No lines and complex navigation.
We have COVID antibody testing negative phlebotomist with appropriate PPE. We draw blood outside and germicide drawing chair between blood draws.
